Today is Auckland Anniversary Day, and I usually spent this weekend close to the long-distance lover's home, but not this year. Instead we made a start on the chicken run. Then it was off to my sister's house for a BBQ and a swim. I had a great time so did the LDL (long-distance lover) and the dogs, Hoby played with his 'cousins' Brooke and Bailey.
Early night scheduled but somehow I don't think it is going to happen. I'm such a night owl, I can't help it. Off to the hairdresser's tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time.
